The Standard was developed by the Worshipful Company of Fishmongers (The Fishmongers’ Company). It recognises the skills and knowledge of talented fishmongers and provides different levels of attainment within the fishmonger profession. The UK Seafood Federation governs the Standard with regional delivery centres and assessors responsible for the training and assessment.
The information below will support learners studying for one of the Standards.
They are not exhaustive and should not be considered as a substitute for training by Company-approved regional delivery centres.
Please note that studying the resources on this webpage does not guarantee that a learner will pass their assessment.
Learner workbooks:- quality assessment, intake, grading and packing are some of those currently available.
