National Federation of Fishmongers

The National Federation of Fishmongers was set up in 1932 to protect and further the interests of the fishmonger and associated trades. It is run by fishmongers, for fishmongers to support the their valuable industry. Members are directly served by the Federation’s Head Office and its branch association, the London Fish and Poultry Retailers Association.

Today the Federation is managed by a democratically elected council which usually meets every three months. The Federation is represented by selected members of the council at official meetings on topics including training, aquaculture and legislation.
